Learn the skill of mindful running
The Challenge is open to anyone whatever your fitness level or running ability – whether you are new to running, following a Couch to 5k programme or indeed a seasoned marathoner.
And that’s because this is a running Challenge with a difference in that we won’t necessarily be asking you to run faster or further. The idea is that increased speed and distance will be a consequence of smart training, improved form, and skill.
The Challenge will highlight the key fundamentals of good form such as breathing and posture to improve running economy, avoid injury, and make your practice more interesting, fun, and enjoyable. The more enjoyable something is, the less of a chore it becomes and you’re more likely to stick with it.
Over the 20 days you’ll get simple focuses to work on that you can incorporate into your practice, as well as your everyday life. You'll probably notice that it’s not only your running that is improving but also your overall health.
There’s a fun quiz at the end with a bonus prize if you score 100%. You’ll also get a certificate of completion.
You can join the Private Facebook Group where you can share your experience with others who are working through the Challenge
The next live webinar is Saturday 22 February at 3pm GMT. Elaine Jackson, our Chi Coach in Essex, will be discussing the latest research on the possible benefits of ChiRunning for those at risk of cardiovascular disease. I’ll also be on hand to answer any specific questions you may have about the Challenge. This webinar is included in the Free Package.
If you purchase our Pro, Premium, or Workshop Package the upcoming monthly webinars include in March, our senior coach Nick Constantine who will be discussing yogic breathing. And in April I’ll be talking to Marek Sabadasz who has recently completed 113 miles coming 2nd in the Tyndrum 24 ultra, so I’ll be asking him just how he managed that!

The course offers bitesize chunks of things to try, gradual build of focuses, a mix of physical exercises, and mental presentations. You get the right amount of content each day to make it doable. The ability to easily catch up days if I've missed one is extremely useful. It has been easy to fit in with my current training plan. Form focuses fit well in my training runs and daily routines.
